Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, with its headquarter based in New Delhi, is an autonomous body fully financed by Govt. of India and urn under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. It was established in 1962 on the recommendation of II C.P.C. with a view to catering the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Govt. Employee including Defence &  Para-Military personal.

Kendriya  Vidyalaya Gangapur City started in the year 2003 under Civil Sector (Railways), now Vidyalaya is running in its old rented building provided by the Railway Vidyalaya is now running upto class IX under the administration of of Sh. R.S. Meena, Principal
